PHRYGIA. Eumeneia. Circa 133-30 BC. (Bronze, 22 mm, 11.75 g, 12 h), struck under the magistrate Dionysios, son of Philonid(os). Wreathed head of youthful Dionysos to right. Rev. EYEMENEΩΝ / ΔIONYΣIOΣ/ΦIΛΩNIΔ Tripod; above, star; to inner left, star above serpent-entwined labrys; to inner right, star above filleted laurel branch. BMC 13. HGC 7, 687. Dark green patina with earthen highlights. Good very fine.
