CORINTHIA. Corinth. Mid 4th century BC. Stater (Silver, 21.5 mm, 8.55 g, 7 h). Pegasus, with pointed wing, flying to left; below, Ϙ. Rev. Α - Ρ Head of Aphrodite to left, wearing Corinthian helmet with leather neck guard and laurel wreath on the bowl, and a pearl necklace; behind neck, aegis with Gorgon’s head. BCD Corinth -. BMC 252. Calciati 427. Ravel 1009. Well-centered and slightly toned. Slightly weakly struck, otherwise, good very fine.
