LYDIA. Sardes. 2nd-1st centuries BC. (Bronze, 17 mm, 4.68 g, 12 h). Wreathed head of Dionysos to right. Rev. ΣΑΡΔΙΑΝΩΝ Horned panther standing to left, his head facing, using his right foreleg to break spear held in jaws; in left field and below, monograms. GRPC Lydia, 187. Johnston -. Green patina with earthen highlights. Minor porosity and a few light cleaning marks, otherwise, very fine.
