ATTICA. Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. Drachm (Silver, 19 mm, 4.16 g, 12 h), Glau... and Eche...o, 138/7. Head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing triple-crested helmet. Rev. ΑΘΕ / ΓΛ/ΑΥ-ΕΧΕ Owl standing, turned to the right but with its head facing, on a Panathenaic amphora lying to right; on amphora, Γ; all within olive wreath. Thompson 308 (this obverse die but reverse unrecorded). Toned and clear. Minor marks, otherwise, good very fine.
