ANGLO-SAXON, Kings of All England. Cnut, 1016-1035. Penny (Silver, 18 mm, 1.03 g, 8 h), London mint, struck under the moneyer, Godric. +CNVT •RE•C•X• Crowned and draped bust of Cnut to left. Rev. +GODRIC ON LVND Short voided cross. North 790. SCBC 1159. Well-centered and toned. Crinkled, with small cracks on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
