Constantine II, as Caesar, 316-337. Follis (Bronze, 19.5 mm, 2.72 g, 11 h), struck under Constantine I, Ticinum, P = 1st officina, 319-320. CONSTANTINVS IVN NOB C Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantine II to left, holding in right hand Victory on globe, and mappa in left. Rev. VIRTVS EXERCIT / (Chi-Rho)/PT Bound captives seated either side of standard inscribed VOT/XX in two lines. RIC 121. An impressive bust time, well centered and with green patina. Slightly rough, otherwise, about extremely fine.
