Crispus, Caesar, 316-326. Follis (Bronze, 19.5 mm, 3.15 g, 12 h), struck under Constantine I, Arelate, Q = 4th officina, 317. CRISPVS NOB CAES Laureate and draped bust of Crispus to right. Rev. PRINCIPIA IVVENTVTIS / R-S/QARL Mars standing right, helmeted, holding spear in right hand and carrying shield on left arm. Cf. RIC 129 (bust). This bust variety not listed in RIC. Brown patina with light silvering. Very fine.

From the Berliner collection, formed between 1970s and early 2000s.
