KYRENAIKA. Kyrene. Circa 500-480 BC. Drachm (Silver, 13 mm, 4.05 g), Attic standard. Two silphium fruits (seed pods?) base to base with three pellets between. Rev. Silphium fruit (seed pod?) within incuse square. BMC 18; SNG Copenhagen 1165. Toned. Somewhat porous, otherwise, very fine.
