MACEDON, Tragilos. Circa 450-400 BC. Hemiobol (Silver, 7mm, 0.19 g 10). Bunch of grapes. Rev. Τ Ρ Α Ι Within the squares of a quadripartite incuse square. BMC 5 var. Lightly toned and well struck. About extremely fine.


Tragilos was a wealthy but obscure Macedonian city that came into prominence in the late 6th century BC; it was destroyed in the early 3rd century AD.
