ZEUGITANA, Carthage. Circa 300 BC. Shekel (Silver, 19mm, 7.96 g 2). Head of Tanit to left, wearing wreath of grain ears, pendant earring and necklace. Rev. Horse standing right, his head turned back to left; behind, palm tree; to right, star. Gulbenkian 383. Muller 108. SNG Copenhagen 141. An attractive, toned example. Minor marks, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
