Gaius (Caligula), 37-41. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 34mm, 25.19 g 7), Rome, 37-38. C CAESAR AVG GERMANICVS PON M TR POT Laureate head of Gaius to left. Rev. AGRIPPINA DRVSILLA IVLIA / S C Gaius' three sisters standing facing; Agrippina on the left as Securitas, her head turned to right, holding cornucopiae with her right hand and leaning on a column; Drusilla in the middle as Concordia, her head turned to left, holding patera in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left; Julia on the right as Fortuna, her head turned to left, holding rudder in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left. BMC 37. BN 47. Cohen 4. RIC 33. Rare. Metal flaw on the obverse and somewhat smoothed, otherwise, very fine.
