Octavian, Denarius (Silver, 21mm, 3.66 g 4), Italian mint (Rome?), 30-29 BC. Laureate head of Octavian to right. Rev. IMP - CAESAR Rostral column ornamented with two anchors and six beaks of galleys, surmounted by a statue of Octavian, holding spear in his right hand and parazonium in his left. Cohen 124. RIC 271. Nicely toned example. Slightly off center and with a bang on Octavan’s cheek, otherwise, very fine.
