ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ Athena seated to left on throne, resting her left elbow on her shield and holding Nike in her outstretched right hand; in outer left field, crescent to left; in inner left, cult image; in the exergue, monogram of ΠΑ. Arnold-Biucchi 23 (O6/R23). Thompson -. A superb coin of splendid style, struck in high relief and elegantly toned. Good extremely fine.

Diademed head of Alexander the Great to right, with horn of Ammon over his ear. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ Athena seated to left on low-backed throne, holding Nike in her right hand, a spear in her left, and with her left elbow resting on a shield; below, trident to left; above Athena's right arm, NOY; on throne, KAΛ. Gerasimov, SCN 6 (1975), pp. 25-26. Müller -. SNG Berry 453 (same obverse die). Thompson -. Very rare, with only about 10 examples known. Powerfully struck. Flan slightly bent on the edge in striking, otherwise, extremely fine.
