LYDIA. Silandus. Pseudo-autonomous, Antonine Period, 138-192. (Bronze, 23 mm, 7.66 g, 5 h). Draped bust of youthful Dionysos to right, wearing ivy wreath; in field to right, thyrsos. Rev. CIΛANΔEΩN Mên standing left, holding pine cone and sceptrer. GRPC - Lydia 19 = Plankenhorn 1293. RPC IV.2 online - but this example shares the same obverse die as the illustrated example temp. 2858. Extremely rare, possibly the third known example. Good very fine.
