LYDIA. Blaundus. Pseudo-autonomous issue, 2nd century. Hemiassarion or Semis (Bronze, 16 mm, 4.37 g, 6 h). Draped bust of youthful Dionysos to right, wearing ivy-wreath. Rev. BΛA/YNΔE/ΩN in three lines within laurel wreath. BMC 42-3. RPC IV Online 1998. SNG Copenhagen 79. Scarce and particularly well-struck from attractively engraved dies. Uncleaned earthen deposits as found, otherwise, about extremely fine.
