CILICIA. Aigeai. Circa 47-29 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 28.5 mm, 14.46 g, 12 h), year Iς = 16 = 32-31. Turreted and veiled bust of the Tyche of Aigeai to right; fillet border. Rev. AIΓEAIΩN Athena standing to left, holding Nike in her right hand and resting her left on her spear and shield; to left, ΔI and club; in exergue, Iς Δ. Arnold-Biucci, Trésor 54-67 (D4/R11). DCA 355. Houghton & Bendall 4 var. (A3/P-; unlisted reverse die). Prieur 711. RPC I 4027. SNG BN -. SNG Levante 1655. Obverse particularly well centered and of fine style. Very fine.
