Herennius Etruscus, as Caesar, 249-251. Aureus (Gold, 19 mm, 2.99 g, 12 h), Rome, circa 250-251. Q HER ETR MES DECIVS NOB C Bareheaded and draped bust of Etruscus to right. Rev. PRINCIPI IVVENTVTIS Herennius, as Princeps Iuventutis, walking to left, holding wand in his right hand and transverse spear with his left. Calicó 3311a. Cohen 25. RIC 147a. Very rare and with an elegant portrait of the young prince. Minor marks and slightly buffed, otherwise, about extremely fine.
