Plautilla, Augusta, 202-205. Denarius (Silver, 18.5 mm, 3.35 g, 6 h), struck under Septimius Severus and Caracalla, Rome. PLAVTILLAE AVGVSTAE Draped bust of Plautilla to right. Rev. PROPAGO IMPERI Plautilla, on the left standing to right, and Caracalla, on the right standing to left, clasping their right hands together. BMC 406. Cohen 21. RIC 362. Toned and attractive, with an extremely attractive portrait. Reverse lightly struck and with a tiny flan crack, otherwise, extremely fine.
