Melqarth, holding bow, riding on hippocamp to right; below, two lines of waves and a dolphin swimming to right. Rev. Owl standing to right, crook and flail over left shoulder; to right, phoenician letters O =ajin and IIIII. Betlyon 37. BMC 40. DCA 918. Elayi & Elayi 26. HGC 10, 349. Bright and attractive. Reverse struck slightly off-center, otherwise, extremely fine.
