IΩANH OK O ΠAΛEO / IC - XC Half-length figure of John V, holding labarum in right hand and globus cruciger with left; above, figure of Christ. Rev. ΔMIT / Γ O A /ANΔPONIK St. Demetrius, holding in right hand cross before chest, and Andronicus, orans, standing facing. DOC 944. LPC p. 118, 4 (Andronicus III). PCPC 199 (Andronicus III). SB 2474 (Andronicus III). Same dies as CNG 105, 1065. Very rare. Toned. Very fine.
