D N ARCADIVS P F AVG Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Arcadius to right, holding spear and shield, being crowned by manus Dei from above. Rev. GLORIA RO-MANORVM / CONΓ* Arcadius standing facing, head left, holding labarum and shield set on ground; to left, captive seated facing. RIC 53b. LRBC 2153. A lovely example, attractive brown surfaces. Light porosity, otherwise, good very fine.
