Aelia Eudoxia, Augusta, 400-404. Solidus (Gold, 20 mm, 4.39 g, 6 h), Constantinople, 4th officina (Δ), c. 402-403. AEL EVDOXIA AG Diademed and draped bust of Eudoxia to right, her hair richly ornamented with jewels; above, Manus Dei with crown. Rev. SALVS REIPVBLICAE / Δ/CONOB Victory seated right on cuirass, inscribing a Christogram on a shield held on her left knee. Depeyrot 55/5. RIC 14. Rare. Clearly struck. Flan faults on the obverse, and minor marks, otherwise, very fine.

From the Trausnitz Collection, acquired 0n 28 May 1991 and from an unnamed German auction sold as lot 1772.
