Divus Septimius Severus, died 211. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.30 g, 6 h), struck posthumously, under Caracalla and Geta, Rome, 211. DIVO SEVERO PIO Bare head of Septimius Severus to right. Rev. CONSECRATIO Eagle, with spread wings and head to left, standing facing on globe. BMC 21 (Caracalla and Geta). Cohen 84. RIC 191c (Caracalla). Perfect centering. Flan crack, otherwise, very fine.
