Aelius, Caesar, 136-138. Denarius (Silver, 17 mm, 3.11 g, 6 h), struck under Hadrian, Rome, 137. L AELIVS CAESAR Bare-headed and draped bust of Aelius to right. Rev. TR POT COS II Pietas standing left, dropping incense held in right hand on flaming altar at feet to left, and holding box of perfumes in left. BMC 975 (Hadrian). Cohen 53. RIC 435 (Hadrian). Lightly toned. Nearly very fine.
