The Triumvirs. Mark Antony and Octavian, late 40 - early 39 BC. Denarius (Silver, 20 mm, 3.75 g, 9 h), Military mint traveling with Octavian in Gaul. CAESAR IMP Bare head of Octavian to right. Rev. ANTONINVS IMP Winged caduceus with pointed handle. Crawford 529/2c. CRI 302a. RSC 6a (Augustus). Sydenham 1327a. Toned and nicely centered. Banker's mark on chin, light scratch in obverse field, otherwise, nearly very fine.
