BAKTRIA, Indo-Greek Kingdom. Philoxenos Aniketos, circa 125-110 BC. Drachm (Silver, 18.5 mm, 2.46 g, 12 h). BAΣIΛEΩΣ ANIKHTOY ΦIΛOΞENOY Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Philoxenos to right, wearing crested helmet adorned with bull's horn and ear. Rev. "Maharajasa apadihatasa Philasinasa", in Kharosti. Philoxenos on horse rearing to right; below to left, Σ; below right, square monogram. Bopearachchi 6D. HGC 12, 272. MIG 341e. SNG ANS 1189-93. Clear and well-struck. About extremely fine.
