PHOENICIA. Sidon. Baalshallim II, circa 401-366 BC. Double Shekel (Silver, 32 mm, 27.93 g, 12 h). Phoenician galley to left over double row of waves; above, 'Beth' (Phoenician). Rev. Persian king and driver in chariot to left; behind, king of Sidon walking left, holding scepter. Betlyon 18. HGC 10, 236. Rouvier 1096. Remarkably clear for the issue. Light toning. A few light marks, otherwise, very fine.
