SATRAPS OF CARIA. Hekatomnos, circa 392/1-377/6 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 14.85 g, 3 h), Mylasa, c. 300. Zeus Labraundos standing right, wearing long robes; holding, with his right hand, a labrys over his right shoulder, and, in his left, a vertical staff. Rev. [ΕΚΑΤΟΜΝΩ] Lion at bay to right; all within shallow incuse square. Cf. Hecatomnus 5-7 (obverse die A2). Karl 3. SNG Kayhan 868-9. Minor deposits, reverse heavily corroded as found, otherwise, good fine.
