CARIA. Idyma. late 5th century BC. Drachm (Silver, 15.5 mm, 3.66 g, 6 h). Horned head of Pan facing. Rev. Ι-Δ-ΥΜΙ-Ο-Ν Fig leaf within incuse square. BMC 2 (same obverse die). Hecatomnus 4 (A2/P3). SNG von Aulock 2560 (same dies). Rare. Obverse pleasingly entered and of a powerful, remarkably fine style. With an overall generally rough patina as found, deposits and scratches, otherwise, nearly very fine.
