ELIS. Olympia. 134th-143rd Olympiad, circa 244-208 BC. Drachm (Silver, 18 mm, 3.97 g, 2 h). Eagle flying right, clutching hare in its talons. Rev. [F]-A Thunderbolt, with volutes above and wings below, flanked by monogram on the left field and kantharos on the right field. BCD Olympia 235-40 (same obverse die). HGC 5, 508. Well centered and lightly toned. A few scratches, light porosity and edge corrosion on reverse, otherwise, very fine.
