ATTICA. Athens. Circa 467-465 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 16.91 g, 4 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned with three olive leaves and palmette, disc earring and pearl necklace. Rev. ΑΘΕ Owl standing right, with a small, three-pointed tail, feet close together, and head facing; behind, olive spray and crescent moon; all within incuse square. HGC 4, 1593. Starr Group II.C. Minor porosity, die-break on Athena's cheek, otherwise, very fine.
