THESSALY. Pharsalos. Mid-late 5th century BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 14.5 mm, 3.02 g, 4 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing an earring and a crested Attic helmet adorned with three coiled serpents. Rev. Φ-AR Horse's head to right; all within incuse square. BCD Thessaly II 662.1 and 664.1. Lavva 27 (V19/R17). Toned and centered. Very fine.
