IONIA. Uncertain. Circa 600-550 BC. Hekte (Electrum, 10 mm, 2.66 g), Phokaic standard. Head of a lion to right, with open jaws. Rev. Rough quadripartite incuse square. Apparently unpublished but see Roma XIII, 2017, 224 and cf. Weidauer 184 (stater). Extremely rare. A well-centered and attractive coin. Struck from somewhat worn dies, otherwise, good very fine.
