Hyperpyron (Gold, 31 mm, 4.38 g, 6 h), Reform coinage, Constantinople, 1092-1118. + KE RO-HΘEI / IC - XC Christ seated facing, nimbate, raising right hand in benediction and holding Gospels in his left. Rev. A ΛE ΞIΩ ΔECΠOTΗ - TW KO MNH NΩ Alexius standing facing, crowned, wearing jeweled robes and holding labarum in his right hand and cross on globe in his left; above, Manus Dei; on the chlamys border, six pellets. DOC 20c. SB 1912. Toned. Some minor crinkling, otherwise, good very fine.
