Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. Denarius (Silver, 20 mm, 4.09 g, 9 h), under the moneyer P. Petronius Turpilianus, Rome , 19-18 BC. TVRPILIANVS III•VIR• Head of Liber to right, wearing ivy-wreath. Rev. CAESAR•AVGVSTVS SIGN•RECE• Parthian kneeling in submission to right, holding out a standard with a vexillum inscribed with X. BMC 10. Cohen 485. RIC² 287. Toned; with an amazingly fine head of the kneeling Parthian. With bankers's marks on the obverse and reverse, and some minor scratches on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
