META Ear of barley with leaf to right; above leaf, star of sixteen rays; below to left, [Λ]Υ. HN III 1592. Johnston Class C, 8.4 = SNG ANS 500 (same dies). Well struck and lightly toned. Good very fine.

Head of Demeter to left, wearing grain wreath, triple pendant earring and pearl necklace; to left, below Demeter's chin, ΔΕ[Χ] (retrograde). Rev. ΜΕΤΑ (retrograde) Ear of barley with seven grains and with leaf to left; above leaf, lighted altar; below right, ΥΛ (retrograde). HN III 1593. Johnston Class C. 10.4. Same dies as Nomos 21, 42. Very attractively toned and struck on a broad flan. Scratches on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.

ME-TA Three barley-corns forming a triskeles; below, an eight-rayed star. HN III 1676. Johnston Bronze 41. Tan patina. A few scattered deposits, otherwise, very fine.
