MYSIA. Miletopolis. Hadrian, 117-138. (Bronze, 33 mm, 25.25 g, 6 h). ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟΝ ΚΑΙ ΣΕΒΑΣΤΟΝ ΑΥΤΟ ΤΡΑΙΑΝΟ Laureate and cuirassed bust of Hadrian to right. Rev. [ΜΕΙΛΗΤ]ΟΠΟ ΕΠΙΜΕΛΗ ΤΙ ΦΛΑ ΑΣΙΑΤΙΚΟΥ ΠΡΩΤΑΡ Hermes, wearing petasos, seated left on rocks, holding caduceus in right hand and resting left on rocks. BMC -. RPC 1648.2 (this coin). SNG BN -. Very rare - only two specimens noted in RPC Online, including this coin. Brown surfaces. A couple of pits and light porosity, otherwise, very fine.
