IMP CAESAR TRAIANVS HADRIANVS AVG Laureate head of Hadrian to right, with chest exposed and with slight drapery on his far shoulder. Rev. PONT MAX TR POT COS III / S C Roma seated left on cuirass, right foot on helmet, holding Victory with her right hand and a spear with her left; behind her, at the bottom of her spear, shield. BMC 1147. Cohen 1187. Hill 150. RIC 562b. With a beautiful, glossy, apple-green patina, and an excellent portrait of Hadrian. Minor traces of cleaning, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
