Rev. 1 ΛΕΠΤON 1840 Denomination and date in three lines within a laurel wreath tied above and below. Divo 29g. Karamitsos 27. KM 13. Graded by NGC "AU 58 BN". Cert number: 2908900-007.

IONIA. Uncertain mint. Circa 650-600 BC. 1/24 Stater (Electrum, 7 mm, 0.65 g). Lion seated to right, with open jaws. Rev. Incuse square. CNG 97, September 2014, 215 (same reverse punch). Cf. SNG von Aulock 177 var. (as hekte). Very rare and possibly unpublished in this denomination. Very fine.
