ATTICA. Athens. Circa 449-404 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 17.11 g, 12 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet with palmette and three olive leaves. Rev. ΑΘΕ Owl standing to right, head facing; behind, olive spray and crescent moon. HGC 4, 1597. Kroll 8. SNG Copenhagen 31. A well centered example. Bankers' marks, otherwise, nearly very fine.

From the stock of an old Swiss dealer assembled mainly in the 1960s-1970s.
