ILLYRIA. Dyrrhachion. Circa 200-37 BC. Drachm (Silver, 18 mm, 3.40 g, 10 h). MNA-ΣHN Cow standing right, her head turned back to left to lick at her calf, standing left and suckling below. Rev. ΔYP AΛE -ΞIΩ - NOΣ Double stellate pattern within a double linear square. Picard & Gjongecaj, RN 157, 2000, p. 233 and pl. XV, 113-114. In this condition, quite rare. Well centered and sharp, struck on very good metal with a most attractive old toning. Some old marks under the toning, otherwise, extremely fine.
