ATTICA. Athens. 148-138 BC. Drachm (Silver, 21 mm, 4.21 g, 12 h), New Style. Head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet. Rev. Α-ΘΕ / Ξ Owl standing facing on amphora; to right, grain ear with leaf. Svoronos Pl. 34, 22 (this obverse die). Thompson 149 j-l (this obverse die - could it possibly be the coin listed as being 'in commerce' under 149 j?). Toned. Somewhat lightly struck, otherwise, good very fine.
