KORKYRA. Korkyra. Under Roman rule, circa 229-48 BC. Didrachm (Silver, 21 mm, 4.42 g, 12 h). Head of youthful Dionysus to right, wearing ivy wreath. Rev. Pegasus flying to right; below, monograms of the city name, KOP, and of a magistrate. HGC 6, 65. Cf. SNG Copenhagen 196-201 (controls). Well-struck, nicely toned, and of remarkably good style for the issue. Good very fine.
