ILLYRIA. Dyrrhachion. Circa 200-37 BC. Drachm (Silver, 17.5 mm, 3.24 g, 5 h), struck under magistrates Xenon and Damenos, circa 80/70-60/55 BC. ΞΕΝΩΝ Cow standing to right, looking back and suckling calf standing to left beneath her; to right, grain ear; in exergue, grape bunch. Rev. ΔYP ΔΑ/ΜΗ/ΝΟΣ Divided double square containing two stellate designs. Ceka 357. Maier 179. Meta V/85, dies D-/R20. Lightly toned. Very fine.
