THESSALY. Oitaioi. Circa 279-168 BC. Dichalkon (Bronze, 17 mm, 3.62 g, 6 h), of Aitolian type, struck during the Oitaioi’s membership in the Aitolian League, Herakleia Trachinia. Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. ΟΙΤΑΙ / ΩΝ Spear head right above jawbone of a boar to right; between them, monogram of ΠΑΡ; to left, bunch of grapes. BCD Thessaly I 1216. Rogers 418. SNG Copenhagen 182. SNG Munich 127. Valassiadis 14. Green and brown patina. Some roughness, otherwise, about very fine.
