THESSALY. Meliboia. Circa 352-344 BC. Dichalkon (Bronze, 17.5 mm, 4.45 g, 12 h). Head of the nymph Meliboeia facing, turned slight to left, and with her hair entwined with bunches of grapes. Rev. [MEΛ]Ι-ΒΟ-ΙΑ Two bunches of grapes on branch. BCD Thessaly I 1196. Rogers 390. Rare. Dark patina. Some pitting on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
