KINGS OF MACEDON. Kassander, 305-298 BC. Hemiobol (Bronze, 18 mm, 5.24 g, 3 h). Head of youthful Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ KAΣΣANΔPOY Rider on horseback to right, raising right hand in salute; below, bunch of grapes. SNG Copenhagen 1151. Very rare symbol; a well struck example with dark green patina. Very fine.
