MACEDON. Thessalonica. After 148 BC. (Bronze, 20 mm, 9.22 g, 12 h). Head of Dionysos to right, wearing ivy wreath. Rev. ΘΕΣΣΑΛ-[Ο]Ν-ΙΚH-[Σ] Goat standing to right; in right field, ΔHP monogram. HGC 3.1, 723. Cf. SNG ANS 764-9 (control). Dark green patina. Scattered light deposits, otherwise, about very fine.
