Domitian, as Caesar, 69-81. Dupondius (Orichalcum, 27 mm, 11.49 g, 6 h), struck under Vespasian, Rome, 73-4. CAESAR AVG F DOMITIAN COS II Laureate and draped head of Domitian to right. Rev. PRINCIP I-VVENT S-C Domitian, on horseback prancing to left, rising his right hand and holding short scepter with his left. BMC 686. BN 696 (Vespasian). Cohen 400. RIC² 662 (Vespasian). Dark brown patina; rare. Good very fine.
