ATTICA. Athens. Circa 449-404 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 17.14 g, 4 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet with palmette and three olive leaves. Rev. ΑΘΕ Owl standing right, head facing; behind, olive spray and crescent moon. Dewing 1596 ff. Svoronos pl. 13, 21 ff. Clear, sharp and attractive. A few minor scratches on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
